It’s that time again ladies and gentlemen, UFC 115 is just minutes away from kickoff. This time it will be 2 UFC legends that know how to throw down and put everything on the line. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell (21-7-0) will be matched against former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich “Ace” Franklin (27-5-0 1 NC). This is a fan favorite match, and one of the most anticipate fights of the year. So grab some popcorn, maybe a cold beer or two, and get ready for UFC 115 brought to you straight from the General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

As usual, BoutSportsReport! will be scoring the fight round by round and posting post fight analysis after each fight.

Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald – The hometown favorite, MacDonald came out strong and aggressive taking Condit Down not one, not twice, but three times. The second round mirrors the first, and the youngest fighter in the UFC looks to be on his way to a huge win against a veteran. The 3rd round starts with fire in the eyes of Condit. The whole round he pounds away, and finally scores a TKO win with less than 10 seconds left in the fight.

Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel – The fight starts with Ben Rothwell shooting in and throws a few punches that land. The pace then slowed dramatically as the fight went to the ground with Rothwell being the aggressor. Towards the end of the round, Gilbert finally started to show some life as he landed some big shots. The 2nd round’s pace slowed drastically until Yvel landed some devastating blows that almost stopped the fight. The 3rd round was extremely slow as Rothwell just basically sat on Gilbert Yvel the whole round. Ben Rothwell escapes with a judge’s decision.

Paulo Thiago vs. Martin Kampmann – Kampmann opens up with tight crisp punches on Thiago. Halfway through the round, Thiago makes a couple of nice take downs on Kampmann, but could not deliver anything else. With a near submission at the end, Kampmann takes the round. The 2nd round continued predominately on the ground, as control of the fight swapped back and forth between these two UFC veterans. Kampmann outfought and outsmarted Thiago and completely dominated the 3rd round. Kampmann pulls out the unanimous judge’s decision.

Mirko Cro Cop vs. Pat Barry – The fight starts as expected as both fighters come out swinging. The factor that wasn’t considered might have been Barry’s intensity level as he delivers 2 huge blows that both knock Cro Cop down. Cro Cop altered his game plan a bit in the 2nd round, and showed a nice ground game, which wasn’t expected. A rear naked choke attempt at the end of the round came up short. The 3rd starts with Cro Cop coming out strong. Just as it looked as if the fight was going to another judge’s decision, Mirko Cro Cop started throwing huge blows, and plants a deep rear naked choke on him to secure the victory.

Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin – As most anticipated, the fight was short and sweet. Chuck Liddell came out strong, and broke Rich Franklin’s arm, but it was Franklin who delivered the devastating blow. Unfortunately, this may be the last time we ever see The Iceman in the octagon.
